Flarion: compliance work, with the reading done for you.

KYC and AML software for regulated firms in the Channel Islands, built around the way compliance teams actually work.

Flarion is compliance software for regulated firms in the Channel Islands. It handles the parts of KYC and AML that consume administrator days: assembling client due diligence files, screening for sanctions and PEP exposure, mapping beneficial ownership and drafting periodic reviews. It is officer-side tooling, built for the people who own the compliance obligation rather than for the client on the other side of the form. Nothing leaves the system without a human approving it, and every action is logged.

What it does

  • Assembles client due diligence files from the documents you already hold, extracting fields with confidence scores rather than asking someone to re-key them.
  • Screens for sanctions, PEP status and adverse media, and keeps the evidence of when a check ran and what it returned.
  • Maps beneficial ownership through layered structures, so the controlling parties are set out rather than inferred from a bundle of PDFs.
  • Drafts periodic reviews for an officer to check, challenge and sign, turning a day of reading into an hour of reviewing.
  • Flags gaps and expiries before they become findings: missing documents, stale verification, unresolved discrepancies.
  • Logs every extraction, edit and approval, so the audit trail is a by-product of the work rather than a separate exercise.

Who it is for

Fiduciaries, trust and company service providers, fund administrators and investment firms: the regulated businesses that carry ongoing CDD obligations under the GFSC and JFSC handbooks. Inside those firms it is built for compliance officers, MLROs and MLCOs, and for the administrators who assemble and maintain client files. Firms where data sovereignty matters can have it hosted on-island or deployed on-premise.

How it is built

Human approval is a hard requirement, not a setting. The system drafts, extracts and flags; a person decides. Confidence is shown at field level so a reviewer knows where to look instead of re-reading everything. That design is deliberate: in a regulated firm the officer remains accountable, and software that obscures its own uncertainty makes that accountability harder to discharge, not easier.

Frequently asked questions

Can we see it on our own files?

Yes. Demonstrations run on your sample documents rather than a scrubbed demo set, because the useful question is how it handles your structures, not ours.

Does it replace our compliance team?

No. It removes the reading and re-keying, and leaves the judgement where it belongs. Every draft and extraction is reviewed and approved by a person before it counts.

Where does our data sit?

On-island hosting is available, and the system can be deployed on-premise for firms whose policy or regulator expects data to stay inside their own environment.
